Room in the Sky
The City of Asheville, NC recently established a public art initiative called Art in the Heart as a way to unite, heal and strengthen the community. Eleven site-specific projects were chosen to be installed, performed and exhibited in Pack Square Plaza, downtown Asheville from September 2022 until March 2023. Room in the Sky is one of the chosen installations and will be on view through the end of October 2022. It consists of a steel frame in the shape of a plus sign or medical cross with twelve flags of solid colors hanging and flying in the wind. *Special thanks to Dave Steel and Sailtire for their generous donations.
