The Redemptive Quality of Life II
This was a site-specific sculpture designed specifically for ArtPrize 2010. It was located on the pedestrian Gillette bridge in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The sculpture consisted of a 30-yard dumpster that was donated by Waste Management of Grand Rapids. Planted inside were seven maple trees surrounded by numerous bags of fake trash. Katerberg Verhage, a local landscape company collaborated with the project by providing the maple trees.
